Friday COVID-19 case count 132 in B.C., three in Interior

VICTORIA — The province’s Ministry of Health is reporting 132 new cases of COVID-19 Friday (Sept. 11), including three new cases within Interior Health.

That brings the provincial total to 6,962, spread through B.C. as follows:

• 2,419 (Vancouver Coastal)
• 3,600 (Fraser Health)
• 190 (Island Health)
• 465 (Interior Health)
• 204 (Northern Health)
• 84 (Reside outside of Canada)

According to a ministry news release, there are now 1,461 active cases of COVID-19 in B.C., including 49 people in hospital, of whom 10 are in intensive care.
