B.C. records 121 new COVID-19 cases Friday, just one in Interior
VICTORIA — Ahead of the Labour Day long weekend, B.C. has seen another day of escalating COVID-19 case counts.
In a news release, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry reported 121 new cases Friday (Sept. 4), including five that were epidemiologically linked to known positives.
Only one of the new cases was recorded in Interior Health.
That brings the provincial case count to 6,162, distributed through B.C. as follows:
