Province sees 83 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, active count at 775
VICTORIA — The number of active COVID-19 cases in B.C. continues to grow.
In a news release issued Tuesday (Aug. 18), provincial health officials say 83 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the province-wide total to 4,677.
The cases are spread through B.C. as follows:
- 1,447 (Vancouver Coastal)
- 2,473 (Fraser Health)
- 156 (Island Health)
- 407 (Interior Health)
- 120 (Northern Health)
- 74 (Reside outside of Canada)
