KAMLOOPS — The Blazers put up their 4th win in a row with a 6-3 victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

HIGHLIGHTS of Blazer Hockey’s 6-3 win over Lethbridge

Orrin Centazzo opened the scoring early in the first with his 43rd of the season.

Just over a minute later, it was Connor Zary with his 35th.

Thirty-five seconds later, former Blazer Trevor Thurston gets Lethbridge on the board – three goals before the five-minute mark.

A minute into the second Oliver Okuliar tied on an unassisted breakaway.

Connor Zary, with his second of the game, gave Kamloops a 3-2 lead after the second.

The Hurricanes went into another gear early in the third and tied it on an Alex Cotton power-play goal

Once again, the Blazers will take the lead when Ryan Hughes scores on a five against four.

The Blazers would add two late empty-net goals.

First on Ryan Hughes’ second of the game and 100th career goal and then Connor Zary completes his hattrick.

Two empty-net goals make the final 6-3, but not an accurate reflection on a fast and intense game between two good hockey teams.

The Blazers now board the bus for back to back games tomorrow and Sunday in Tri-Cities.
