CLINTON, B.C. — A local man in his 40s has died after his transport truck crashed north of Clinton.
In a news release, Cpl. Mike Halskov says at roughly 9:35 a.m. today (Nov. 25), Clinton RCMP, Traffic Services, and Emergency Services responded to a single-vehicle fatal crash on Highway 97 near Big Bar.
When police attended, they found that a northbound transport truck left the highway, rolled, and killed the driver.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, and Halskov says there’s no evidence to suggest any criminality. Road and weather conditions were good at the time of the crash.
