KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are looking for information after a suspicious incident yesterday afternoon (May 10) outside Arthur Hatton Elementary School.

Staff Sgt. Michel Grondin says police received a report that around 12:30 p.m two women drove up and approached two young boys outside the school.

The women were in a white, newer model Honda sedan with a radio antenna on the rear, and had a white and brown Russell Terrier dog in the back seat.

While speaking to the 2 young students, who did not know them, the women invited them to pet the dog.

During this interaction, school staff approached the area, and the women hastily drove off.

Grondin says anyone with information on this matter should call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000, or CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-800-222-8477 , and quoting Kamloops RCMP file # 2019-14320.
