As we wait for A Star Is Born to be released, Lady Gaga is working at honing a new musical skill.

Producer and songwriter Mark Nilan Jr. posted a video over the weekend of Gaga – baton in hand – conducting an orchestra in the studio.

“You can go ahead and add conducting to the long list of her skills,” he writes on Instagram. “We had the orchestra coming in. Music prepared. Then decided to add orchestra to 1 more song, with 1 hour before the start time. We wrote this orchestra arrangement in an hour. With pencil and paper. I literally wore thru 4 pencils.”

He adds, “Have yet to come across anyone that can pull that off these days… And it sounds EPIC. Wait til u hear it.”

So far, no word on when or where we’ll hear the orchestral recording.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga appeared on stage in a surprise moment at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards, which was taped on Saturday at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, and aired last night. The 32-year-old entertainer accept the award for Best Music Documentary for Gaga Five Foot Two and she also presented the award for Best Movie to Black Panther. “I love you little monsters so much! And, Happy Pride Month!” she said while accepting the award. “I just have one problem, I recently found out that I am actually five-foot-three and three quarters… I am so, so sorry, but thank you so much.”
