LITTLE FORT — One person is dead following a four-vehicle collision on Highway 5 in Little Fort.
It happened last night (June 21) just after 8:30 p.m. says RCMP Cpl. Melissa Wutke.
“Multiple emergency services attended the scene and found that a commercial vehicle traveling south on Highway 5 had collided with a northbound commercial vehicle. A northbound SUV then struck the two commercial vehicles.”

In a further chain reaction, she says a southbound commercial vehicle managed to avoid the collision but lost a load of lumber on the highway in the process.
The driver of the southbound commercial vehicle died on scene. The three other drivers, along with one witness, all suffered minor injuries.
The highway is now open to alternating, single lane traffic and motorists are asked to monitor Drive BC for further updates.
No other information is being released at this time.
