SHAWN MENDES & ZEDD DROP ‘LOST IN JAPAN’ REMIX: As promised, Shawn Mendes and Zedd have dropped their new remix of “Lost In Japan,” the second official single from Shawn’s self-titled third studio album following “In My Blood.” “When we decided to make ‘Lost In Japan’ the next single, I wanted to do an exciting remix for the song, and with Zedd being a good friend and such an amazing artist, it felt natural to ask him to collaborate on it. What he did with it is so incredible and I’m so excited for the world to hear it,” said Shawn. “I was really excited when Shawn asked me to work on a new version of ‘Lost In Japan.’ I tried to fuse both of our worlds together and bring us both to a place we wouldn’t have gone to by ourselves. It’s my favorite song from the album so it was super fun to put my own touch to it,” said Zedd.

LAUV & JULIA MICHAELS DEBUT ‘THERE’S NO WAY’ MUSIC VIDEO: Lauv and Julia Michaels teamed up for the music video for “There’s No Way,” out now. Lauv said, “Julia is an absolute legend not only as a songwriter but just as a human being. The first time we met we didn’t even write a song, we just talked about life and emo bands and stuff. A few days later me, her, Justin Tranter and Ian Kirkpatrick got into the room and wrote ‘There’s No Way.’ For me the song is about meeting someone and immediately feeling that connection where you can’t help but have crazy chemistry, and though your lives don’t quite line up in that moment, you know someday everything could go down between you two.” Lauv and Michaels are set to perform “There’s No Way” on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert October 1st. The track follows Lauv’s recent single, “Superhero.”

ARIANA GRANDE, PENTATONIX, IDINA MENZEL TO PERFORM ON ‘A VERY WICKED HALLOWEEN’: The hit musical Wicked is celebrating its 15 anniversary on Broadway next month, and NBC is bringing the show’s original stars, along with some big-name singers, together to mark the occasion. On October 29th, NBC will air A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway, a concert tribute hosted by Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenoweth, who, respectively, originated the roles of Elphaba and Glinda in the musical. They’ll perform, and so will Ariana Grande, Pentatonix and more singers to be announced. The tribute will be taped at New York’s Marquis Theater and will be produced by the musical’s original creative team.
