Venom take stranglehold in Junior Lacrosse semi-final

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Venom have taken a stranglehold in their B.C. Junior Lacrosse semi-final with the South Okanagan Flames.
Monte Chisholm had 6 goals to lead the Venom to a 16-12 win over the Flames in Oliver Thursday night.
Venom can wrap up the best-of-five series with a win in game 3 Saturday night at Memorial Arena.
In the other series, Vernon Tigers evened their series with Armstrong at a game apiece by beating the Shamrocks 9-3.
