KAMLOOPS — Gusty winds are going to be a serious problems for those fighting the wildfires in the B.C. interior.

The dangers from gusting winds create difficulty for crews to establish guards, and often the unpredictable winds create danger for firefighters who have to fall back for their own safety.

The biggest problem area right now is the wildfire at 100 Mile House.

The entire community has been evacuated, and evacuees are making their way across highway 24 and up to the evacuation centre in Prince George.
