‘N SYNC TO OPEN ‘DIRTY POP-UP’ SHOP IN LOS ANGELES: ‘N Sync is opening a pop-up shop in Los Angeles. The group announced on that they will launch an official merchandise capsule collection April 28th. The “Dirty Pop-Up” will take place April 28th through May 1st at Cinematic Pictures in Hollywood. Admission to the store will be free to the public. Visitors will have the chance to purchase limited-run merchandise and engage with an immersive photo activation. The store will also feature authentic props, wardrobe, artwork and photography on display. ‘N Sync teamed with its merchandise and licensing partner, Epic Rights, on the project. The capsule collection will be made available on the boy band’s online store April 30th.

MACKLEMORE & TRICIA DAVIS WELCOME SECOND CHILD: Macklemore and his wife Tricia Davis are parents to a second child. The 34-year-old rapper revealed that Tricia recently gave birth to a baby girl a month ago, before St. Patrick’s Day. Macklemore made the reveal after being asked how he spent the holiday. “I spent it in the hospital. With my brand new daughter who was born right before St. Patrick’s Day,” he told Spin 1038. Macklemore and Tricia are also the parents of a two-year-old daughter named Sloane Ava Simone.

STEVIE WONDER COMPOSES BRAND-NEW SONG FOR ‘SCANDAL’ FINALE: The Stevie Wonder song heard over the final minutes of Thursday night’s series finale of Scandal was unfamiliar for a reason: he custom-wrote it for the ABC political soap – and even show creator and producer Shonda Rhimes didn’t know about until the last minute. Rhimes revealed how it came about during her appearance with Scandal star Kerry Washington on Thursday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! Rhimes said that she’d been putting the finishing touches on the finale fewer than 12 hours prior to the broadcast. The reason: “We were so blessed that we got to get a special song written by Stevie Wonder,” Rhimes said, explaining that Wonder was “inspired by Scandal” to write the song, and only let Rhimes know about it at the last minute. Producers were working until literally hours before the finale’s scheduled broadcast to incorporate the song.

JASON MRAZ TO SALUTE BIG BIRD AT CHARITY EVENT: Jason Mraz will be serenading Sesame Street’s Big Bird next month. Jason will perform at the Center for Puppetry Arts’ Puppets for Puppetry gala May 5th on the Hollywood lot of the Jim Henson Company. The event’s honoree is Emmy and Grammy-winner Caroll Spinney, who portrayed both Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch on Sesame Street for years. Jason tweeted that it’s “a big deal” for him to be honoring Spinney. Chris Hardwick will host the event, and 30 Rock star Jack McBrayer and former SNL cast member Bobby Moynihan are among the special guests. The event benefits the Center for Puppetry Arts, a non-profit that works to inspire imagination, education and community through puppetry. The Center houses more than 500 puppets and props donated by the family of Muppets creator Jim Henson and The Jim Henson Company. Tickets are available at PuppetsforPuppetry.com.
