Police investigate possible homicide in Quesnel

QUESNEL, B.C. — On July 21, 2018, RCMP received a report that multiple individuals had been stabbed. Police attended a residence on Holborn Drive and located a deceased man and a woman suffering from serious injuries.

The woman, 52, was provided medical assistance and was transported to local hospital where she remains in critical condition. The deceased man was 48 years old.

Later on, a 32-year-old male suspect attended the Quesnel RCMP Detachment and turned himself in. He was arrested and remains in custody.

The North District Major Crime Unit has been called in to investigate. Police can confirm that they are not looking for any other suspects and that the suspect and victims were known to each other.
