JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE & BEBE REXHA SCORE CMT VIDEO OF THE YEAR NOMINATIONS: In a year that’s been huge for country/pop crossovers, two pop stars have made history: They’re the first in their genre to be nominated for the biggest honor, Video of the Year, at the CMT Music Awards. Justin Timberlake and Bebe Rexha have both nabbed nominations at the awards ceremony, which is usually a strictly country music affair. But Justin is nominated for the video for “Say Something,” his hit collaboration with country star Chris Stapleton, while Bebe is nominated for “Meant to Be,” her smash hit collab with Florida Georgia Line. The Backstreet Boys are also nominated, in the CMT Performance of the Year category. They’re up for their performance of their hit, “Everybody,” with Florida Georgia Line, from an episode of CMT Crossroads.

CALVIN HARRIS AND GIRLFRIEND INVOLVED IN SERIOUS CAR ACCIDENT: DJ Calvin Harris was reportedly involved in a serious car crash over the weekend. The producer’s girlfriend, model Aarika Wolf, was behind the wheel of an SUV when it collided with another vehicle turning into a Beverly Hills driveway, according to TMZ. The collision apparently caused the other vehicle to spin out and ultimately end up facing Harris’s Range Rover when both cars finally came to a stop. Harris and Wolf were photographed walking away from the accident without need of medical attention. The DJ tweeted about the crash later. “I promised myself I’d never do anything worthy of appearing in TMZ ever again but sadly this was out of my control thankfully everyone is ok,” he wrote in a tweet that was swiftly deleted.

LORDE CLEANS OUT SOCIAL MEDIA: Lorde has done some spring cleaning on her social media pages. The 21-year-old singer deleted all of her tweets all the way back to November of last year. Lorde also deleted all the photos from her Instagram account, leaving up only a few, one from each year for the last three years. Fans took notice of the change during the 2018 Met Gala, and one fan has a theory of what the photos she left up could mean. “first post: lorde, on stage, the leader of an army. second: her army of children (us) waiting to be given the words, watching her in the crowd. third: we have to ‘trust her’, presumably when she gives us the words,” they wrote.

KATHARINE MCPHEE CONFIRMS SHE’S DATING SUPER-PRODUCER DAVID FOSTER: The rumor that American Idol alum Katharine McPhee, 34, is dating pop super-producer David Foster, 68, has been around for a year, but the two finally confirmed it Monday night at the Met Gala in New York City. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, McPhee said she and Foster were having a “fun date night.” At the event Foster stopped to say hi to his former stepdaughter, Bella Hadid. Foster divorced Bella’s mom and his fourth wife, Yolanda Hadid, in 2015. Foster’s marriage to his third wife, Linda Thompson, made him stepfather to Brody and Brandon Jenner. And Foster’s sister is the biological mother of Clay Aiken’s son, Parker. Katharine is currently starring on Broadway in the musical Waitress.
