ARMSTRONG — The McDonald’s in Armstrong had to be shut down due to a fire Monday night.
It broke out on a grill in the kitchen at the restaurant on Smith Drive around 6:20 pm.
Fire chief Ian Cummings says his crew was able to knock the flames down.
“There is some smoke damage throughout the building, so they’ll have some clean-up to do. Some equipment was damaged by the fire but that was contained to the cooking area.”
