TNRD rescinds evacuation alert for Electoral Area E

KAMLOOPS — Good news for property owners in Electoral Area ‘E’ in the Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD).

The TNRD has rescinded its evacuation alert for the area which was prompted due to the Young Lake wildfire on August 10.

The TNRD says the fire no longer poses an imminent risk of danger to life and health for area residents.
