The Obama’s Are Moviemakers??

Barack and Michelle Obama have inked a production deal with Netflix.

The streaming giant shared on Twitter: “President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have entered into a multi-year agreement to produce films and series for Netflix, potentially including scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, documentaries, and features.”

• The partnership will provide the Obamas with a platform that reaches 118 million subscribers around the world. They will reportedly focus on stories of inspiration.
• The New York Times first published news of the rumored deal in March. Michelle Obama also recently announced that her memoir, Becoming, will be out in the fall. Barack Obama is also working on an untitled memoir. Penguin Random House paid them a reported $60 million for a joint deal on their books.
