Coroners Service identifies Cariboo crash victim

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — The BC Coroners Service has identified a man who died in a crash southeast of Williams Lake on the weekend.

He was 44 year old Michael Loren Hendry of 108 Mile Ranch.

On Saturday afternoon, Hendry was driving a small SUV on Beaver Lake Road when it went off the road and hit a power pole.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

RCMP are trying to determine why the vehicle crashed.
