Crash closes Coquihalla Highway northbound between Hope and Merritt

MERRITT, B.C. — Update: Traffic is moving again, albeit slowly, northbound on the Coquihalla Highway between Hope and Merritt.

The northbound lane has been opened to single lane traffic though motorists should expect heavy delays due to traffic congestion.

Earlier: A vehicle incident has closed the Coquihalla Highway northbound between Hope and Merritt at Exit 250.

According to Drive BC, an assessment is currently underway.
