MELISSA MCCARTHY THINKS HER COSTAR DESERVES A CAT OSCAR: Melissa McCarthy was so pleased with her feline costar in her latest film, Can You Ever Forgive Me, that she’s calling for him to get a Cat Oscar. According to Deadline, she told the crowd at the Telluride Film festival, “I heard there are actually Academy Awards for pets. I can’t remember what they are called but I call them the Cat Oscars and this cat should win.” Unfortunately for the furry actor, Towne, there is no official Adacemy Awards for pets. Vulture reports that the closest thing is the American Humane Societys Pawscars – an unofficial award for animal actors.

TYSON BECKFORD’S SON TO WALK IN FIRST RUNWAY SHOW: Model Tyson Beckford‘s son is set to walk in his first runway show Tuesday (September 4th). Page Six is reporting that 20-year-old Jordan Beckford will be seen in the Tommy Hilfiger show in Shanghai and he has been signed by Soul Artist Management.

‘DIE HARD’ 6 TO BE TITLED ‘MCCLANE’: The sixth installment of the Die Hard franchise has a working title. Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura told the UK movie magazine Empire that the movie is called McClane. According to the empire report, the script features Bruce Willis as a 60-year-old McClane with a younger version of McClane in his 20s.

DAVE BAUTISTA MAY LEAVE ‘GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY’ FRANCHISE: Dave Bautista said on The Johnathan Ross Show that he is unsure if he wants to return to the Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise following the firing of director James Gunn. Bautista said, “To be honest with you, I don’t know if I want to work for Disney. . . I’m not really happy with what they’ve done with James Gunn. They’re putting the movie off. It’s on hold indefinitely.”
