ALESSIA CARA AND ZEDD TO PERFORM AT JAY-Z’S MADE IN AMERICA FESTIVAL: Alessia Cara and Zedd are among the performers announced for JAY-Z’s 7th annual Labor Day weekend Made in America festival. They will join headliners Nicki Minaj and Post Malone for the two-day event, held September 1st and 2nd on Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. The line-up of artists also includes Diplo, Janelle Monae, Miguel, and Ty Dolla $ign. The festival will benefit the ACLU of Pennsylvania as well as United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.

DUA LIPA PROMISES MORE ‘SURPRISES’ IN 2018: Dua Lipa’s going to be spending the rest of the year touring behind her debut album, but we may be hearing some new music from her before the end of 2018. Asked by the website Hypebae what she’s currently working on, Dua revealed, “I have a couple more surprises for this year.” She didn’t offer any other details. Dua is also working on a new album for release in 2019. “I’m excited about that,” she says. “I feel like I’m a lot more prepared than I was for the first album. I know exactly what I want to write about, I know co-writers that I love working with, and who I want to work it….I feel like for the first time I know what I’m doing.”

MARIAH CAREY TO TAKE HOLIDAY TOUR TO EUROPE: Mariah Carey has announced that she’s taking her All I Want for Christmas Is You tour to Europe this December. The tour begins December 1st in Norway, and also will visit Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, Holland and Belgium, in addition to three cities in the U.K. Meanwhile, Mariah is allegedly having trouble selling tickets for her Butterfly Returns shows that kick off at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. “It’s a disaster,” an insider told Page Six. “Scalpers bought a bunch of the tix and are freaking out.” Seats are still available for the July 5th opening night of her three-month residency.

LANCE BASS & HUSBAND MICHAEL TURCHIN FIND A SURROGATE: Lance Bass is opening up about his journey to fatherhood. The 39-year-old *NSYNC singer and his husband Michael Turchin, 31, are in the process of having a child through a surrogate. “I’m very anxious and nervous, but I think it’s going to be amazing,” Lance told People. “We found the most amazing doctor, surrogate, everything is just great. It’s happening, and it’s happening quick.” “She lives close to us so we’ll be able to see her and be a part of her life and she’s going to be a part of our life the rest of our lives. It’s going to be great,” he added. Lance and Michael have been married since December 2014.
