South Kam wins B.C. boys basketball championship

KAMLOOPS — The South Kam Titans are B.C. boys “AAA” basketball champions.  

The number two seed Titans defeated top seed Byrne Creek of Burnaby 74-66 to win the title.  

It’s the first senior boys provincial championship in Kam High/South Kam school history after a pair of second place finishes by Kam High in 1974 and South Kam in 2017.

The boys’ win follows the South Kam Titans girls winning the B.C. “AA” championship last week.
