NewLeaf expected to arrive on time in Kamloops

“All of our plans right now are for startup on (July) 30th,” Legace said. “We’re just anticipating the arrival of some signage, we have to get some IT stuff as well so that they can print boarding passes, print baggage tags, and all of that sort of stuff. We’re getting them set up so that they can use their computer system in the building as well.

“Just those little things. We’ve got a couple of weeks left to go, so I think we’re in pretty good shape.”

The airline isn’t expected to cause many changes to every day operations at Fulton Field, and the airport doesn’t have any major concerns with its procedures.

“One the day of flight this is all about really just getting an airplane in and getting an airplane out,” Legace said. “It’s something we do every day anyways for all kinds of other airlines, so there’ll be nothing special about this from our perspective. It’ll be kind of business as usual.”
