ANOTHER RECORD FOR DRAKE: Drake has just set the record for spending the most weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in one year. “In My Feelings” remains No. 1 for a 10th week, giving Drizzy a record 29 weeks at the top of the Hot 100 this year, breaking the record of 28 weeks set by Usher in 2004. Drake also becomes the second artist – following Boyz II Men – to have three songs that were No. 1 for at least ten weeks. In addition to “In My Feelings,” the songs are “God’s Plan” from Drake’s latest album, Scorpion, and 2016’s “One Dance,” featuring WizKid and Kyla. “Nice for What” also from Scorpion, held the No. 1 position for eight weeks this year. Overall, Drake has now spent 49 weeks at No. 1 in his career. The only artists with more weeks at No. 1 are Mariah Careywith 79 weeks, Rihanna with 60 weeks, The Beatles with 59 weeks, and Boyz II Men with 50 weeks.

POST MALONE SCHEDULES SPECIAL NEW YORK CITY CONCERT: Post Malone is going to close 2018 out with a special concert in Brooklyn, New York. The Dallas rapper will perform a special one-off show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on December 29th. Tickets to the show go on sale Friday via Ticketmaster. American Express Card members can grab tickets today through Thursday, September. On October 28th, the rapper will host his Posty Fest in Dallas. He’s headlining and curating the show, which will feature Travis Scott and other special guests.

NORMANI & KHALID’S DUET ‘LOVE LIES’ RISES TO NO. 1 ON BILLBOARD POP SONGS CHART: “Love Lies,” Normani and Khalid’s duet from the soundtrack of the film Love, Simon, has now reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart. The double platinum “Love Lies” is the first song from a soundtrack to top the Pop Songs chart since 2016, when Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” from Trolls, was No. 1 for three weeks. And Fifth Harmonybecomes the third group to have at least two members reach No. 1 on the Pop Songs chart. One Direction has three members who’ve done it: ZAYN, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne. Destiny’s Child has two members who’ve done it: Beyonc and Kelly Rowland. Normani is the second member of Fifth Harmony to top the Pop Songs chart, following Camila Cabello. The song also sets the record for the longest trip to No. 1 for a duet. It took 24 weeks to reach the summit of the Pop Songs chart. The previous record of 17 weeks was set by Major Lazer and DJ Snake’s “Lean On,” featuring MO, in 2015.
