Major Midgets 2-1 so far at Kelowna Tournament

KELOWNA — The Thompson Major Midget Blazers are 2-1 at a tournament in Kelowna this weekend.

After dropping their first game, the Blazers have won two in a row going into today’s final day.

They beat Wenatchee 4-2 and dumped Kootenay 8-1.

Blazers prospect Logan Stankoven is on a roll.

Counting four goals in a loss to Cariboo prior to this weekend’s tournament, Stankoven has 10 goals in his last four games.

He had 3 goals in the win over Wenatchee, and 2 goals against Kootenay.
