Woman pulled from burning van in Kelowna
KELOWNA — Three Kelowna Mounties saved the life of a woman by pulling her out of a burning vehicle.
The woman’s mini van crashed into a parking lot pole at the Sheraton Four Points across from Kelowna International Airport just after 4 am Monday morning.
The officers — who were in the immediate area — smashed out the windows and dragged the 30 year old unconscious woman from the Dodge Grand Caravan which soon after burst into flames.
She was taken to hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
