City of Kamloops seeking feedback on residential parking permit program
KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops is soliciting feedback from residents as it works to modernize its residential parking permit program, as part of the next phase of advancing a new parking strategy that was implemented this year.
Community Services Manager Will Beatty said the residential parking permit program needs to be reviewed “to ensure it remains effective, sustainable and responsive to changing community needs as the city grows.”
“We know residential parking affects people differently, depending on where they live, how they travel, and the parking pressures in their neighbourhood,” Beatty said.
