Apparent white nationalist gathering spotted on Tkʼemlúps reserve Sunday

TK’EMLUPS — A post on social media appears to show a group of masked individuals gathered on the Tkʼemlúps te Secwépemc reserve on Sunday morning (Sept. 27).
In the post, the group can be seen wearing black clothing and hats with white face coverings, with some carrying flags.
A logo seen on several of the men’s outfits appears to correspond with the emblem of Second Sons Canada, a white nationalist “Active Club.”
According to the Canadian Anti-Hate Network, Second Sons “encourages its supporters to get firearms and carries out fitness training, practices mixed martial arts, and conducts military drills under the supervision of veterans. They see violence as necessary and inevitable to defend their movement, attack their opposition, and ethnically cleanse Canada.”
