Kamloops Storm touting improved hockey quality ahead of B.C. Hockey Conference opener
Moving from Tier 2 to Tier 1 denotes improvement.
The Kamloops Storm’s general manager, head coach and captain said a boost in quality will be evident on Friday [Sept. 18] in the club’s inaugural B.C. Hockey Conference (BCHC) contest, with the Columbia Valley Rockies coming to town for a 7 p.m. start on McArthur Island.
“For sure,” Storm head coach Andrew Fisher said. “Some of the guys we brought in from other teams were sort of top guys on their teams in the old KIJHL and guys that are going to maybe be more in the middle or toward the bottom end of our lineup.”
