Three Kamloops-area golf courses crack Canada’s top 100 again in 2026

KAMLOOPS — Three Kamloops-area golf courses remain some of the best Canada has to offer, although two have gone up the leaderboard while another has bogeyed. 

In the 2026 edition of the Score Golf rankings, Sagebrush Golf Club near Merritt takes No. 15, up from 17 in 2024. The public course is credited for its minimalistic design that never feels extreme, despite its mountainside. The magazine calls Sagebrush beautiful, challenging, fun and whimsical. 

Not far behind is GreenTee Country Club Tobiano west of Kamloops at No. 23, up from 29 in 2024. The Kamloops-area golf course – which opened in 2008 – was sold to JK World Group, a Coquitlam-based company, in 2025.

Further down is Talking Rock near Chase at No. 84, down from 73 in 2024 and 62 in 2022. Score Golf does call Talking Rock a fantastic, forested course with dramatic mountain views.
