Noah Kahan Sets The Record Straight On Misheard Lyrics

Noah Kahan took to X this week to correct commonly misheard lyrics from his songs. Fans had been mishearing his breakout single “Stick Season” — which hit No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2024 — singing “Suck Your Mom” instead of “Saw Your Mom.” Two other tracks caused similar confusion. His song “23” features “Beat your a– into morning,” not “Eat Your A– In The Morning,” and “Haircut” includes “Glad you got your act cleaned,” not an NSFW alternative. Despite the corrections, Kahan told fans they could “sing from whatever place your mind takes you.” The clarifications come as he tours behind The Great Divide, his three-week Billboard 200-topping album released in April.
