Taylor Swift’s new Toy Story 5 anthem “I Knew It, I Knew You” broke multiple streaming records on Friday following its release. Spotify reported the track became the most-streamed country song in a single day by a female artist. Apple Music announced it set records for first-day soundtrack single listens and became 2026’s biggest country track. Amazon Music declared it had the year’s largest streaming day for any song. Swift wrote the nostalgia-filled track specifically for cowgirl character Jessie, voiced by Joan Cusack, after viewing early footage. “I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening,” Swift posted on Instagram. The song appears on the official Toy Story 5 soundtrack, releasing June 19th with the film.
