UPDATE: Water service restored in Juniper and Rose Hill, only safe for bathing and cleaning
UPDATE (1:30 p.m.): The City of Kamloops says it has replenished reservoirs serving east Kamloops, meaning water service has been restored for all areas affected by this week’s main break.
However, city officials are still asking residents to restrict their use to essential purposes only.
Some neighbourhoods are able to consume the water from their taps if it is boiled, while others are still asked not to consume it. See the list below:
- Juniper: Do Not Drink or Consume, Essential Use Only
- Rose Hill: Do Not Drink or Consume, Essential Use Only
- Barnhartvale: Do Not Drink or Consume, Essential Use Only
- Campbell Creek: Boil Water Advisory, Essential Use Only
- Dallas: Boil Water Advisory, Essential Use Only
- Valleyview: Boil Water Advisory, Essential Use Only
