He claimed Storms is struggling with severe mental health issues that have led to housing instability. For now, she is permitted only supervised visits with their daughter. Nearly 24 years after Jam Master Jay’s death, another man has admitted involvement in the case. Jay Bryant, 52, of Far Rockaway, Queens, pleaded guilty to giving access to the Queens recording studio where the Run-DMC DJ, born Jason Mizell, was shot.
