Christina Applegate Says She’s ‘Getting Stronger’ After Recent Hospitalization

Christina Applegate reassured fans Monday that she’s “getting stronger and better every day” following her recent hospitalization. The actress posted on Instagram thanking supporters for their “outpouring of love and well wishes.” She acknowledged that “health issues are a constant for me, but I’m a strong chick.” Applegate said she’s taking time to focus on her health but promised to return “with more to say soon enough.” Reports in late March said the Married…With Children star had been hospitalized, with some outlets indicating those close to her were preparing for the worst. Applegate announced her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in August 2021 and has been candid about her health struggles through her 2026 memoir and her podcast with fellow MS patient Jamie-Lynn Sigler. The actress retired from acting after completing Dead To Me, which she filmed while experiencing early MS symptoms.
