Savannah Guthrie visited NBC’s Today show on Thursday for the first time since her mother Nancy was abducted January 31st. The co-host met with colleagues off-camera to thank staff for their support. “Savannah Guthrie stopped by the studio this morning to be with and thank her Today colleagues,” NBC said in a statement. “While she plans to return to the show on air, she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home.” The case remains open with no person of interest publicly identified. Hoda Kotb has returned on an interim basis to co-anchor with Craig Melvin after leaving full-time duties early last year. She will stay until Guthrie returns.
