Warner Bros. Developing ‘Game Of Thrones’ Feature Film

Warner Bros. is developing a Game Of Thrones movie with Beau Willimon, a writer for Andor and the showrunner of House Of Cards, who has already submitted a draft. The film reportedly focuses on Aegon I, founder of the Targaryen dynasty, and his conquest of Westeros centuries before the original series. However, the project’s future remains uncertain as Warner Bros. faces a potential sale to Paramount Skydance. Game Of Thrones represents one of Warner’s most valuable properties, having run 8 seasons and won numerous Emmys. The franchise has already spawned successful HBO spinoffs including House Of The Dragon and A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms.
