Kamloops’ Hicketts to captain Team Canada at Spengler Cup
DAVOS, SUI. — One of Kamloops’ hockey heroes will lead Canada’s entry in the 2025 Spengler Cup tournament in Davos, Switzerland.
Defenceman Joe Hicketts was named team captain by Hockey Canada Thursday (Dec. 25).

Hicketts, 29, is under contract with the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings and is playing his third season for the Kings’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Ontario Reign.
