One person seriously injured in Wednesday’s Tranquille Road collision

KAMLOOPS — One person was sent to hospital with serious injuries following Wednesday’s (June 11) collision at the intersection of Tranquille Road and Eighth Street.

In a brief update Friday (June 13), Kamloops RCMP say the investigation into the collision between a motorcycle and a truck is ongoing. Police were called to the intersection on the North Shore at around 1:00 p.m.

“A brief road closure occurred in order to maintain safety and facilitate a thorough investigation by the Kamloops Traffic Services,” Cst. Sofie Winkels stated.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information or dashcam video that may be related is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.
