KAMLOOPS — Ten days after voting day, Lytton finally knows who its new mayor will be – and it’s Jennifer Thoss.
The village took an unorthodox path to choosing its new mayor.
Voting in the October 17 municipal election resulted in a tie – 45 votes each for incumbent Denise O’Connor and challenger Thoss.
The matter went to provincial court in Kamloops Tuesday (Oct. 27), with a judicial recount confirming the tie.
