Kamloops RCMP investigating North Shore motorhome fire

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are investigating the motorhome fire that took place outside a North Shore business late last week. 

Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) responded to the parking lot behind Surplus Herby’s on Tranquille Road at around 12:00 a.m. Friday (Sept. 11). 

In an email to CFJC Today, Cpl. Dana Napier says the motorhome’s owner attempted to suppress the fire, which appeared to start in the interior. 

“The cause of the fire is still being investigated and no one has been arrested at this time,” Napier says.
