After signing life-changing NHL contract, Minten driven to reward Bruins for betting on him
KAMLOOPS — Fraser Minten signed a seven-year, U.S. $50.4-million contract with the Boston Bruins on Tuesday (Sept. 8).
The former Kamloops Blazers’ captain set career-highs in goals (17), assists (18) and points (35) in 82 games last season, and led all NHL rookies in plus-minus (plus-21).
He spoke to Marty Hastings of CFJC Today on Thursday. Below is a transcript of the interview, which has been edited for length.
