Paton joins Milobar as independent MLA with plans to form a new party
VICTORIA — A new party is beginning to take shape in B.C. politics, as former Conservative MLAs are leaving caucus to sit as independents, vowing to present a more centric option to the voters of British Columbia.
Ten days ago it was Kamloops Centre MLA Peter Milobar leaving the BC Conservative caucus to sit as an independent.
“I think you only have to look at the events last week, coming out of the BC Conservatives and their communication style and where they are focusing in on to see where the big divergence would be,” said Milobar.
