Reid Scott is leaving NBC’s Law & Order after three seasons as Senior Detective Vincent Riley. The departure is his own decision, driven by the strain of commuting cross-country and spending nine months away from his family. James Badge Dale will replace him as a new Senior Detective. Chadwick Boseman’s brothers Derrick and Kevin Boseman are asking a Los Angeles court to remove his widow, Taylor Simone Ledward, as administrator of his estate. Details from the first alleged ransom note tied to Savannah Guthrie’s missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, have emerged. Journalist Briana Whitney read the note on the Crime Junkie podcast, revealing it demanded millions in Bitcoin and warned Savannah, “Do not play games.” The FBI is still verifying the note’s authenticity. Disney+’s Percy Jackson & The Olympians Season 3 will premiere November 20. The news came during San Diego Comic-Con, where attendees also saw first footage from the new season. Based on Rick Riordan’s The Titan’s Curse, Season 3 introduces the characters Bianca and Nico Di Angelo. Producers promised darker, deeper stakes than the original book. Story URL

Fox’s Family Guy spinoff Stewie has added six voice cast members. The European Union has approved Paramount’s $111 billion bid for Warner Bros. Discovery after Paramount agreed to exit its film distribution joint venture with Universal Pictures and avoid any Universal distribution deals for ten years.
