Kamloops Airport numbers continue steady ascent at midway point of 2026
KAMLOOPS — There has been another year-over-year increase to passenger numbers at Kamloops Airport.
There were 72,937 passengers during the months of April, May and June this year – a 10.6 per cent increase from the same three month period last year. That increase is despite rising fuel prices that caused some schedule adjustments, especially at smaller, regional airports like Kamloops.
“June is when there were a lot of reactions to the fuel costs and we saw some reductions in frequencies from some airlines, so that reflected in the numbers but they still finished about 4.3 per cent above June of last year,” Jim Moroz, the Managing Director at Kamloops Airport said.
