Kamloops Airport numbers continue steady ascent
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Airport has seen a boost in travellers coming through YKA, continuing a trend of strong passenger growth over the year before.
YKA officials said the airport welcomed 72,937 passengers in the second quarter of 2026, representing a 10.6 per cent increase over the same time in 2025.
This comes even as travellers and airlines face increasing costs.
“The results were achieved despite rising jet fuel costs and external market conditions that led some airlines to adjust schedules and frequencies,” said YKA.
