Cher Learns She Has A 15-Year-Old Granddaughter After Son’s Secret Romance

Cher recently discovered she’s a grandmother to a 15-year-old girl named Ever. Kayti Edwards, step-granddaughter of Julie Andrews, told The Sun she had a daughter with Cher’s son Elijah Blue Allman during their brief 2010 romance. Edwards claims Allman, 49, wasn’t involved in raising Ever because he “never wanted to be a parent.” The news eventually reached Cher through family rumors in 2021. “Cher got in touch with me last June and asked if it was true, so I had to confess,” Edwards said. “When she heard the news, she was speechless.” The 79-year-old singer has since formed a relationship with Ever, hosting them for a visit at her Malibu home in September 2025. “Cher was lovely and kind, and we had dinner,” Edwards reported. The revelation comes as Cher has again filed for conservatorship over Elijah’s finances, citing his legal and addiction struggles.
