BTS drew over 250,000 fans to Seoul on Saturday for their comeback concert, setting a new record for South Korea’s largest public concert audience. While 22,000 received “Golden Tickets” for designated seating at the group’s first full performance in four years, more than 10 times that number gathered nearby to watch on video screens. The concert, which streamed live on Netflix, featured eight songs from their new album Arirang, plus hits like “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and “Mic Drop.” Member RM performed while seated due to a recent injury involving sprained ligaments and bone contusion that limited his choreography. Following Friday’s release of Arirang, BTS will launch an 82-date world tour starting April 9th. They’re scheduled to perform in the U.S. today for the Spotify x BTS: SWIMSIDE event, marking their first American show since their military service hiatus. (Story URL)
