ABC Pulls ‘The Bachelorette’ Following Taylor Frankie Paul Domestic Violence Allegations Category Icon
ABC has removed The Bachelorette from its schedule amid domestic violence allegations involving star Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen. The show was set to premiere on Sunday. “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a Disney rep stated. TMZ released an old video on Thursday showing Paul appearing to attack Mortensen and throwing chairs. She was arrested in 2023 after that incident for alleged domestic violence and pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. Police are now investigating the couple again after being called by Mortensen’s roommate. The latest incident has also caused filming to be paused on Season 5 of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Paul and Mortensen share a one-year-old son.
