George Clooney, Rande Gerber Launch Non-Alcoholic Beer Brand Crazy Mountain

George Clooney and Rande Gerber (along with their Casamigos Tequila partner Mike Meldman), have launched Crazy Mountain, a premium non-alcoholic beer targeting health-conscious consumers. The trio designed the beverage for people wanting a “healthier” lifestyle without sacrificing the “taste, ritual, camaraderie, and satisfaction” of drinking alcohol. “We love beer, we just don’t always want the effects that come with it,” Clooney said. Crazy Mountain offers two flavors, Original and Lime, sold for $27.98 per two six-packs with 65 calories per 12-ounce can. Gerber described it as fitting “every occasion” from barbecues to golf rounds. The entrepreneurs previously sold their Casamigos Tequila brand to Diageo for $1 billion in 2017 after launching it in 2013.
