Pixar’s ‘Hoppers’ Tops The Weekend Box Office With $46 Million

Disney-Pixar’s Hoppers claimed the top spot at the domestic box office, earning $46 million during its opening weekend. The animated feature achieved the largest debut for an original animated movie since Coco in 2017. International markets contributed an additional $42 million, bringing the film’s global opening total to $88 million. Scream 7 secured second place during its sophomore weekend, generating $17.1 million domestically. Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Bride! landed in third position with $7.3 million for its debut, suffering from tepid critical reception and audience ratings. The horror-comedy managed only $6.3 million internationally, resulting in a modest $13 million worldwide launch. GOAT maintained fourth place with $6.6 million and Wuthering Heights rounded out the top 5 with $3.8 million in its fourth week.
